Happy Mother's Day!!!

...Happy Mother's Day out there to all the moms, moms to be, moms to furbabies, moms to angels, those who are like moms and those who dream of being mothers!

Today is Baby G's due date and despite the pork steaks and corn on the cob, s/he is still in no hurry to come meet us! Although we do still have 5.5 hours left in the day...I got a couple cards and got to spend the day with my sis, H, Grandma and my dad. We hit up Babies-R-Us, scored some sweet deals at Costco (seriously, go check out the Huggies wipes deal for .017 cents/wipe!), enjoyed lunch at Outback and then went back to my house to hang out for a bit. Matt went to his mom's house where they planted flowers for her, a yearly tradition for their family.

Now for your viewing pleasure and to commerate the day, here I am at exactly 40 weeks pregnant!
Now come on Baby G! We're all ready to meet you!!!

Wow, currently you're the only one of my friends who made it to a full 40 weeks! Good luck with everything that's to come :)

Hey remember how you were so worried about the baby belly not being big enough? And remember how everyone was like "it'll grow" or "be happy it's not as big as some others"? Well lady friend, the belly is there - and I'm sure you're not wishing you were any bigger now, are you? haha!

You still look great! And hopefully you're feeling good too, despite may a wee bit of impatience. ;)

I've been following your blogs for some time now...

First CONGRATS!!! Looking forward to meeting Baby G via blog post in the upcoming weeks!!

Second, I want to echo Liz above: You totally have a 40 week belly going on there. You look amazing, and I hope you come to the end of your pregnancy being happy of your achievements and fully at peace with your size.

Thanks for sharing such an important time for all to learn from!
