...ever since my dad moved out of our childhood house, I've been asking for my high school yearbooks. Almost three years later and we haven't found them. Saturday we walk into his house and he's like, "Here, Lyss, these are your yearbooks." I get all excited, "You found them???" Umm....no, he went to my high school and bought them for me. Aww....thanks Daddy!!! Too bad he bought an extra one at a hefty fee for a year that I didn't go to the school. Jess, Beth, Kristal-that's the white one below.
The one bummer thing is that these yearbooks have a very heavy price tag. Really?!? I mean they're just taking up space, wouldn't you think they'd just want to get them out of the school? Not to mention, anyone that knows me would know that I bought these the first day that they were on sale for about $20 LESS than what he paid today for them. So my poor daddy had to buy these things TWICE for me-thanks Daddy! You're the best!!!
Random Yearbook Trivia:
1. The purple book pictured above says "Principal's Office."
2. My senior year, I was voted, "Most Likely To Say Hi" which hubs finds hilarious these days.
3. I was the senior spotlight athlete for the girls soccer team even though I only played in 8 games my senior year since I tore my ACL.
So please leave a comment with your random yearbook trivia!!!

Oh, gosh, I'll have to find my old ones! I don't know that I ever got my senior yearbook... I ordered one, but they came in after the school year was over (excellent planning, huh?) and I don't know that I ever picked it up. Hmm.
I was "Most Likely to Succeed." And one year in HS, the seniors (not my class!) taped a huge black dildo to the wildcat statue outside... I got to watch the principal go remove it because I had gym first hour. :)
Oh my gosh I love HS yearbooks.
In my senior one there is a pic of me and my best friend dressed up for Twin Day - we took these tank tops and puffy painted them with all of our inside jokes and nicknames. I actually STILL have my tank top and I don't know what half the inside jokes mean anymore, lol.
I don't have any of my yearbooks from high school. Weird, right? I just never felt the urge to buy them or felt that connected to my school. Plus, they were SERIOUSLY overpriced. I've only been out of high school for 4 years now and I haven't regretted the decision yet. We'll see how I feel in another 10 years. ;)
If I don't find them at my parents house soon I will totally buy the one from 1998 from you :)
I don't have any trivia. I went barely noticed at my high school, but that's ok by me. Lol. That was VERY sweet of your dad.
I'm happy to report my senior year I got "Best all around". I don't even know what that means? LOL I did well in school, had quite a few friends and was in a lot of activities but to get best all around? I still laugh....
The most memorable one was my 10th grade year book. I was moving 80 miles away from my school, so it was full of everyone's signatures wishing me luck and sad faces.
That was probably the worst summer of my life being away from all my friends!
