Thursday Tidbits...

...just some randomness...

*My eyelid is so sore! I think it's a little puffy but nothing obvious. When I rub it though it's like ouchie!!! I've been putting a cold washcloth on it and it's helping a little.

*Headed to the Cape G tomorrow, more on that tomorrow...

*I am peeling like CRAZY from this past weekend. When I got to work yesterday, my boss was like oh your forehead is peeling and by the end of the day she was saying, every time I see you, there's less and less of your forehead. I'd been putting lotion and aloe on all week so I don't know how its peeling...any ideas or suggestions for the future?

*17 days left, I'm in survival mode, they can't go by fast enough!

*Since getting back on track with my training, I've felt good and haven't missed a run. Of course, I'm doing almost of the running inside since it's so flippin' hot out. I figured it out and I've put over 270 miles on my running shoes that I bought mid-April. I'm going to try to hold out until the end of August before I buy another pair. Blogger Stephany has decided to run a half marathon so I'm sure she'd appreciate some support and you girls (and guy) are definitely supporters!!!

I guess that's all for now, please feel free to send me some tidbits about you, your summer or anything random!

Um, why is your eyelid sore? What did I miss?

Congrats on your runs, that is awesome! I have been VERY bad for the past week, and the heat really isn't helping. I have to get back on track ASAP though. Only one week left of summer school for me, then a PD trip to San Antonio. Count those days!

This weather is killing me too. It takes a lot to put me on a treadmill, but yesterday I just couldn't take the heat. Even early in the morning, it's just a total swamp outside. I'm praying that we get even a brief reprieve soon.

I don't know how much more you can do for a burn once you have one. You can also take Advil to reduce the inflammation. I'm a freak about sunscreen and luckily haven't had a burn in a long time, but I have had my share in the past and I know how painful they can be. And embarrassing!

Oh my gosh! I came back from vacation and somehow I must have burned my scalp beacause I scrath it and it's peeling. haha. It looks like I have dandruff. Oh goodness :)

Great news about your training! I've fallen off the wagon a bit so you've encouraged me to get back at it. And I hope your eye feels better soon!

The last 5 weeks have been so crazy here. But I finally have a few days to get caught up on blogging. I'll be posting quite a few in a day or two :)
