Marathon Monday...

...more pics and then mum's the word about the marathon! I won't mention it again...okay, maybe from time to time but no more post dedicated to JUST the marathon, k? All the pics today are courtesy of Angie K. and Angie D. (I keep calling her Angie D. although she's really Angie G. but she'll always be Angie D. to me!)

I finished! Representin' the AGD too.
Nick, my littlest cheerer out there, he was so freakin' cute with his hat on sideways!
Final stretch!!! You can do it!
Love this picture! Me and Sherrie after we crossed the finish line. I seriously love this lady, she's such an inspiration and great soul.
Oh I love this one too! I'm so glad Angie K. caught this. That's my dad in the red and that's his little thing he used to do to me when I was on the field playing soccer. If you look closely, you can tell he was tearing up which of course made me sob. Seriously, I think running a marathon makes you more emotional than PMS!
I greeted each and every one of my supporters even little Nick in his stroller. Angie M. (that ran with us-so many Angies!) pointed out that his stroller was green like our team colors (in real life the shirt was lime green for Runners 4 Luke).
Okay, see the two guys in the yellow? The one on the right was blind and the other guy guided him through the entire course. How freakin' awesome is that?!
Sherrie and I running down before the turn, we even passed that lady on the left and Angie M. cheering us on!
We did it! We're crossing the finish line!
Mattie putting on my medal for me. I ran 26.2 miles and I was smiling...amazes me-both the mileage and the smile!
My bib and medal! My red sports bra bled through on my shirt, don't worry-I'm ok!
Matt and I never got a head on pic of me after the race so Monday night we took this self portrait in our kitchen Shadow was also proud of me and wanted to eat my medal. Please don't mind me, this was Monday night after I laid around all day trying to recover. I will have you know that Emma and I did take a walk that afternoon to stay loose.
Thanks again for everything especially my very special husband. Today we celebrate two years of marital bliss! Happy anniversary pretty! I LOVE YOU! I promise an anniversary post later this week with what we do to celebrate!
