...just a couple of thoughts for Friday...
*Went to get our rings cleaned yesterday. It finally clicked that when the jeweler takes it and gets his/her little eye thing out, they are actually checking the settings and everything. This whole time I just figured they thought my ring was really cool and wanted a closer look, I think I'll still keep thinking that.
*Went to Penney's to use that coupon on the sweater and the sweater was $5 cheaper!!! SCORE! So I got a matching necklace, can't wait to wear it!
*It is so flippin' cold which I'm kind of happy because if finally feels like December. I can't wait to get my new coat for Christmas since my old jacket was stolen on my birthday (boo!).
*Kristal's baby shower this weekend...can't wait to see her and the rest of "the gang." It'll be another weekend without seeing Matt but in 17 days we'll be in Florida together!
*Speaking of baby showers, I booked the location for Candace's shower. Her hub helped me and he picked a pizzeria!!! Well, it's a little nicer than that with a private room upstairs. It's at Stone Canyon, their Parkville location so at least the food is done!!! I'm planning her shower in KC from STL. This isn't the first time, I planned her bachelorette party from SC and, if I do say so myself, it was pretty awesome minus the whole forgetting she's allergic to cinnamon and that shot of Goldschlager-oops!
Happy Friday everyone!

I am LOL'ing about the Glodschlager--that's really pretty funny when you think about it!
I planned my bestie's shower and bach party from across the country too! Sounds like the shower you're planning is going to be a fab affair!
lol that little 'eye thing' is called a jewelers loupe. We use it to check the prongs and to make sure the stone isn't cracked or chipped before we walk away from the counter with your ring. That way if there's any damage you can't claim we did it during the cleaning and buffing process. ;)
Thanks Ang! Learn something new every day, I still prefer to think that they are just admiring my ring!
