Work, work, work...

...the nice thing about my job is that there's lots of variety and I'm not just confined to an office, desk or computer. I get to do different things (sometimes good, sometimes not so good). So tonight, I had to work OUTSIDE (brr) at a light display. Matt was also working (its my FT job, his PT job). Really it wasn't too bad, just my fingers were frozen and towards the end of the night my toes were chilly too. I dressed for warmth though, two pairs of socks, long underwear-top and bottom, jeans, bibs, long sleeve t-shirt, sweatshirt, coat, two pairs of gloves, a stocking cap and hood PLUS a blanket I brought for my lap.

This one lady was so sweet, she walked by and asked if I was cold and I said, oh just a little bit. She took a few more steps then turned and walked back to me grabbing my hands, "Here hun, take this." She turned and walked off and she'd left me a shake-up warm pack. It was great!!! Thank you lady, it really got the feeling back in my fingers.

Today I stopped by the mall to get a gift card for someone and I stopped to look at the sweaters in Penney's. I saw one I really liked but I didn't buy it. I thought about it all afternoon and when I left to go to work tonight, I got the mail and sitting in my mailbox was a $10 off a $10 purchase at Penney's!!! Sweet-now I can get that sweater for only $14.99!!! I'm super excited and will definately be stopping by there tomorrow PLUS I think I figured out what I'm doing for neighbor gifts, I'll post on that later. Happy Hump Day!
