STL Blogger Outing-Christmas Style...

...Sunday afternoon, Heidi, Randall, Angie and I all met by the big Christmas tree in historic St. Charles to join in the festivities of St. Charles Christmas Traditions. It was CHILLY out there and poor Randall brought two right hand gloves! Once we all arrived, we decided to have lunch at Little Hills Winery. Angie and I had the ham and cheese sandwich while Heidi and Randall had the French dip, we all agreed our meals were okay, the waffle fries were great. It was perfect timing because as soon as we finished lunch, we walked right outside and saw the parade! They had Santas from different countries and eras, Jack Frost was there along with the Sugar Plum Fairy (which I kept saying Sugar Flum Pairy), carolers and bringing up the rear was Santa and Mrs. Claus! Each character also had trading cards they handed out including the Chestnut Roaster.

Here is the Sugar Plum Fairy who was my favorite especially when she was trying to catch up with Serenity Angel and was yelling out, "Serenity! Wait for me!" She would shout random things like, "Good tidings!" and "Comfort and Joy!"

This was the horse that pulled Mr. and Mrs. Claus. I thought the hat was too cute! Sorry, no good pic of the guy and gal in red, they didn't look our direction.

Here is our group of bloggers: Angie, Heidi, Randall and myself in front of the big tree (those ornaments were bigger than my head)
Thanks for a fun afternoon ladies! Hope you all have a great holiday season. Comfort and joy!
Speaking of holiday spirit, here are my top five holiday movies (in no order):
1. Mixed Nuts
2. Home Alone
3. Christmas Vacation
4. A Christmas Story
5. Elf
What are your faves?
