Half Training Week 1/Week 9...

...well, this is officially week 9 of my half training but week 1 post Indy Mini Mary.

Saturday, May 7-Indy Mini Marathon-2:38:23!!!

Sunday, May 8-Much needed rest day!

Monday, May 9-First day of the Biggest Winner! 30 minutes on the elliptical with Jen to stay loose from the half.

Tuesday, May 10-Attempted to swim, got in 11 laps but then thunderstorms called it off!

Wednesday, May 11-Ran 2 miles.

Thursday, May 12-Swam a mile then did speed training.

I like the mix you have. All running is boring and not great for most folks anyway. Swim, bike, run, machine exercise--all good for your body and mind.

Nice job on the half-marathon! I've finally been able to get back out there and run (slowly) and it's been feeling so great.
