Matt's Truck & Fair Dinner...

...so Friday evening, we went to the Fair Dinner Appreciation. Matt and Tom were so excited to go. I snapped a picture of the two of them. Boys! They can never look at the camera and smile!

Here are two pictures of Matt's truck after the incident Thursday evening.

First off, thank you everyone for all the sweet, positive comments...you really made me feel better. Secondly, I spent all day Friday crunching numbers and looking for a truck in our price range. I found one that I think Matt likes but it's so hard to tell with him and he's so specific about what he wants!?! I had to call the Ford dealership today though and ask if the trucks with the half doors (crew cabs, super cabs, suicide doors...whatever you want to call them) would fit a baby seat in the back because we're hoping the new truck will last us until we have a baby. They said it would so Matt perked up about the truck I found. We're going to wait and see what the insurance company says next week, hopefully we'll know by Wednesday and if they are just going to total it out then we might make a whirlwind trip to Cape next Sunday to check out this truck. So many what-ifs to deal with in the next week or so but we're just trying to stay cool and taking it in stride. Thanks again for all the positive thoughts! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend-the sun if FINALLY out here-yah!!!

I hope the vehicle thing works out. It's amazing how much damage can be don. Eek. I HATE car shopping. LOL. If you know someone that has a baby car seat, I would borrow it, just to be safe. I had a 97 F-150 extended cab. The baby car seat (ones you carry) didn't fit well. I'm tall and needed more leg room. A regular car seat (for older kiddos) fits fine though.

I'm behind on my blog reading so I'm just hearing about your truck. So sorry that it happened. That picture doesn't look THAT bad though. It's weird how ins. companies total cars bc my car was totaled out in February and the damage wasn't THAT bad. It was an 01, so i guess it was too old to be worth fixing.
Hang in there with the finances. I can remember thinking that I could not handle one more bill and then something would happen (a/c would break, car would need repair, etc.) but I would figure out a way to juggle things around to make things work. It's SO fun being a young couple, huh! ;) We're learning life lessons I guess!
Sorry for the long comment!
