Chocolate Check-In Week 7...

...8 more weeks until the Hot Chocolate 5k! I probably need to start doing some running outside so my body will be used to the colder air. I feel like I'm slowly getting my groove back with running.

Friday, October 11-Ran 2 miles in exactly 24 minutes...guess I'm pretty steady at that 12 minute mile, huh?
Saturday, October 12-Celebrated our 5 year anniversary by going on a walk at Niefsnider State Forest.
Sunday, October 13-AR, Emma and I went for an afternoon one mile walk.
Monday, October 14-Boot camp at 5:30 am then drove to work and ran 2 miles!
Tuesday, October 15-Another day of boot camp at 5:30 am and a 2 mile run. I'm surprised I've been able to keep up the 12 minute pace because I'm so tired but in a good way!
Wednesday, October 16-Skipped boot camp after a late night with AR but I still ran 2 miles in 23:56!
Thursday, October 17-We had a good night's sleep at our house so I got up and hit boot camp then followed it up with a 2 mile run-woot woot! Feeling good!

Challenge: Walk one mile every day...get up early, do it before bed or after dinner time but get out and enjoy the fall weather!

Remember the weight loss challenge with Matt I had going on? Well, I'm only 9 pounds away from beating him as he shoves Sara Lee double chocolate cakes in his mouth. I feel victory!!! Also, since August 29-October 17, I've lost 19.8 pounds so I guess all this eating right and working out is really working. Now I just have to keep it up because I do NOT want to see all those pounds I've lost ever again!

Holy Moly that is a lot of weight in just a short amount of time. Not that I'm surprised due to all the working out you've been doing, but dayum. You're rockin' it! I'm jealous. I can't wait to start working out again and so wish I was doing this run with you guys.

Okay, Okay. I'm totally going to start "getting ready" for this run. I have to! I'm going to make it happen! Just don't be mad if I call you crying because I'm tired/hungry/fat/etc.

I'm ready to start running again. I think I might dump my Saturday insanity workouts to start acclimating to the weather. I love running in the cold! Also, so proud of you for all the hard work you have been doing! You are awesome and so glad to see your goal is getting close! Beat that hubby!!
